Cross Stitch Design Challenge Entry
This is design is a little out of left field for cross stitch (considering it’s actually embroidery), but it includes some of my Grandma’s work (the blue pattern), so I still enjoy it. At least, I think it’s my Grandma’s work. It was covering her sewing room chair. It still does! …except now it’s in our sewing room. I think there’s nice, nostalgic continuity there. The other design is, strangely enough, from yet another chair I acquired over the years. This one came with my antique, shabby chic desk.
Here’s what it looked like to take these two chairs and turn them into a repeating pattern.
I have no idea what other people will do for this challenge, and I don’t expect to place too high this week, but you never know. The whims of the voters are rather unpredictable.
Voting
You can find the voting link here at Spoonflower’s Cross Stitch Design Challenge webpage. I highly recommend voting on a bigger screen than a phone. Scrolling down the zillions of designs on a phone can make your eyes a little crazy. 👀
Results: I placed number 197 out of over 800 entries. Not too shabby!
