Wall Art Design Process
My design this week features a painting I did a few years ago. My sister sent me a pic of her happy hour drink one night, and I thought the reflections were so pretty. I wanted to try to capture them with watercolor and ended up being pleased with the painting. If you like it too, you can download it here at my Etsy shop.
The brief for the challenge this week required beverage recipes. Since no beverage recipes came to mind after a brainstorm, I decided to do a “recipe” for happy hour. Hope the voters won’t mind. I played around a little with how to best feature the painting. Then I worked on the lettering for the title. Lettering is a favorite pastime of mine. The bubbles are something I added from a wallpaper design I did with stealth scuba divers. Can you find them?
