Favorite Things Design Challenge

Watercolor is my Favorite!

Spoonflower gave us a lot of freedom in this challenge. Basically, they just gave us instructions to build a fabric design around one of your favorite things. I’d say painting floral watercolors is absolutely one of my favorite things. Thus, I took a favorite painting and made a repeating pattern out of it. I actually used a similar version of this painting as the cover for my Into His Word Bible Journal too. You can see the process of making this painting repeat seamlessly in the video below.

Results

I ranked 468/1095, middle of the pack. The top 50 had some really fun ideas.

Due to the Christmas season, Spoonflower takes some breaks from weekly contest. The next design challenge starts next week and features the Pantone Color of the year.
