This week, Spoonflower challenged us with making bedding for tweens. I oughta be able to swing that, considering how many tweens I have had/currently had. (Hint: it’s a lot) I whipped up a Pinterest board to get a feel for currents trends. Here they are: midtones (colorful, but not bright), 70’s, boho, rainbows and cute word art.
First, I sketched up a layout to make sure the repeat looked nice on a large scale. I tweaked a few things and then got to drawing the elements.
Bedding
Since the challenge is for a design that looks great on bedding, I’m sharing the mock-ups from Spoonflower’s website.
And here’s what the voting mock-up will look like…
Bonus
I loved the color palette so much for this design, I created a whole collection of fabrics to go with it! You could make an entire bed up with sheets, comforter, and throw pillows! Here’s a link to the collection.
Voting
If you have the time, I’d love your vote! Ranking high in the challenges really helps build the visibility of my shop!
